On January 20, 2007 - New Haven, Connecticut's beloved sports and music arena, The New Haven Veteran's Memorial Coliseum - was imploded because it was too expensive to attempt to revitalize it to its once majestic splendor. The demolition and removal will hopefully make room for future improvements in the area. UPDATE: It was replaced with a parking lot. This is the video of that implosion. Clip 2 of the same tornado crossing I-57. Moderate damage was noted and a semi truck and SUV were flipped over. I was actually near mile marker 335, not 355, luckily they knew where I was already talking about. The tornado itself transitions from a classic cone to a multi vortex wedge, at that point the stopped cars dont realize its still on the ground and actually start driving towards it, but clearly you can see separate vorticies reaching the ground within the broader circulation. This is my absolute favorite tune out of MMX, or any Megaman game, really. When I saw that nobody had done this, I wondered why, and began directly. I now see why nobody has done this one. . . Its all fine up until halfway through the 4th clip where the range goes up past high C, so I had to change the instrumentation slightly. On top of that, there are some 16th triplets (drum solo...), which would require a tempo of 4096(!) to accurately re-create. That was a definate no-go. Regardless, I'm quite happy with the final product! Also, this was done using satoshilyish's Mario Paint Plus 1.05 soundset. Listen for the nice boats!
